Town Manager
Nolensville Town Hall will be closing today, Friday August 16th at 2pm. We will reopen Monday August 19th at 8am.

Last week the Town of Nolensville was made aware of an 8-inch line break that created a water main leak on the Sunset Trail west of Briarcliff. The break caused a washout, resulting in a hole that is unsafe. The repairs are complete, and the trail is open.

In May 2024, the Town of Nolensville applied for the Local Parks and Recreation Fund (LPRF) Grant from the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation to provide more recreational opportunities to the growing town. This week the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conversation announced that the Town of Nolensville has been awarded the grant for $1.2 million dollars. The approved project will bring incredible enhancements to newly acquired land purchased by the town a few years ago. The location for the park will be on Sunset Road, with the major cross streets being Nolensville Road and Sunset Road. After gauging community interest and asking for feedback, it has been determined that the grant money will go towards a pickleball/tennis court, basketball court, restroom building, multi-purpose field, parking, and a walking trail. This will be the largest park that the town has designed and constructed, as those currently within town limits are run and managed by Williamson County. Project start dates are still being finalized between the town and the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation. Updates will be provided to Nolensville residents through the town’s current project page on the website.

We want your feedback! Park and recreation facilities are essential for our growing town, providing spaces for families and youth to engage in physical activity, connect with nature, and build a strong sense of community. These facilities enhance the quality of life by offering safe, accessible areas for recreation and interaction, fostering a healthy lifestyle for all residents. Annually, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Foundation offer communities the opportunity to apply for their Healthy Places grant, where they work collaboratively with a community to design and build a playground. These playgrounds serve as a cornerstone for promoting wellness and togetherness in a community. Please take a moment to share your thoughts by taking this brief three question survey to help us plan for future park and recreation facilities in the Town of Nolensville. Survey is open until August 22, 2024. Click HERE to participate!

Today is Chief Roddy Parker’s last day as the Nolensville Police Chief. We would like to thank him for his commitment to serving the Town of Nolensville as well as Williamson County. The impact that he has made will be a legacy in our town for years to come. We wish him the best of luck in retirement. The new Nolensville Chief of Police will be Dale Armour. Chief Armour will start his new leadership role on Monday, August 19th.
